This is a nice idea! My oldest is in kindergarten and I definitely want to keep him reading this summer – we may do something similar.

I love challenges. I know it says “for kids” but I think this would be fun for any age!

I think number 22 is a good idea! Get the kids in a habit of reading the book before the movie. Then everyone can discuss the differences, what they liked, etc!

Yes, agreed Jenn! I find kids love to read aloud at the end of the day, and finding a book where you can show them a movie as a class reward is so fun. With my own kids, we read during dinner and then have a family movie night. Really wonderful to bond over books!

I love this idea, it’s fun and it helps kids becoming more interested in reading. I’m a bookworm myself so I’d probably accompany the kids in this challenge:) Great list.
